Governance

Our Commitment to Good Governance

The LifeLeague is a ‘not for profit’ pro-life society that has experienced rapid growth in recent years. This section of our review explains how we are run and financed. More importantly, it explains how we spend your money.

We are grateful to God for His guidance and provision, and also to all those individuals whose kind and generous giving makes our work possible.

The LifeLeague has had the privilege of promoting the sanctity of human life from conception until natural death on an international scale. The financial demands of our national and international campaigns have been very great and we give thanks that, under God, our income has always been sufficient to meet the need.

LifeLeague is governed by the members of our Executive Steering Group. In addition, a National Executive Advisory Board has been set up consisting of people from across the county who regularly meet with the Steering Group to discuss our affairs and governance. This two-tiered set-up provides us with the framework to ensure accountability, transparency and general good governance. Both groups consist of highly respected, capable individuals who have a burden for the plight of our unborn children and a deep faith in Our Lord.

We are pleased to announce that LifeLeague continues to be the most cost-effective, pro-life campaigning group in the country. Our admin and overhead costs are the lowest of any similar group in the UK.

Spending your money wisely in the defence of the unborn child is a solemn pledge that we give to all of our supporters, and a promise we take very seriously.
